Exploring COVID-19 Workplace Changes Through Different Lenses

When:  Jun 3, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM (ET)

While the workplace has changed for everyone in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s important to understand the diverse perspectives and experiences of different cultural communities. Building this understanding can expand empathy and inclusion within your teams and increase productivity, retention and recruitment efforts.

Join us for this "fireside chat" led by Tiffany Hanson with LUNA Language Services and Megan Nail with First Person Advisors as we talk with different community stakeholders to understand how people with disabilities, women, immigrants, and the black community and people of color may be experiencing changes in the workplace related to the pandemic differently.

Learning Objectives:

  • Acknowledge common changes that employers are implementing in response to the pandemic.
  • Build understanding of how these changes may affect some cultural communities in unique or disproportionate ways.
  • Gain insights from community stakeholders about actions that you can take to build a more inclusive culture for these cultural communities.
  • Ask your questions about specific challenges you have faced to receive direct feedback and advice.

🤟 An ASL interpreter will be provided.

🎥 Video recording will be available after the webinar has concluded.
