New state legislative action has birthed a new frontier for employers in the region. Following up on our webinar in December regarding the new pay data transparency publication requirements for listings and postings in Colorado, join Candee Chambers of DirectEmployers, Tony Perkins of Taapestry and Jay Wang of Fox, Wang & Morgan to discuss other new requirements imposed on employers with Colorado and California employees. Specifically, during the 60-minute webinar our speakers will address:

• COLORADO: What employers need to do differently following implementation of the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) as to listing new hire positions and posting promotional opportunities for Colorado employees. Also, how the statute forces most employers to the realization that they have to post to Colorado employees most of their jobs around the country, including pay and benefits information (raising trade secret and competitive information issues for many employers);

• COLORADO: New limitations EPEWA imposes on employers prohibiting them from limiting employees from discussing their pay and salary histories; and

• CALIFORNIA: California’s rebirth of the EEO-1 Component 2 reporting requirement as to California employers. Who is covered? Which out-of-state employees do you have report, if covered? What has to be reported, how and when? Binary employee reporting. How to brace for and react to the public reports California will spin from your data, and, finally, practical considerations to comply with the pay data reporting requirements.
