For over 13 years, J.B. Hunt Transport has been a Gold or Silver rated Military Friendly Employer, but there’s always the opportunity to do more! In 2020 they stepped up their game by creating a job role focused solely on military and veteran relations and engagement to further improve their military hiring and retention efforts. During this session, Senior Manager of Military & Veteran Relations Eric Airola will share J.B. Hunt’s journey, challenges, and key learnings with fellow DirectEmployers Members who are interested in creating or enhancing their own programs. Despite being an army of one with a very small budget and no staff, Eric will show how even with limited resources, you can still reach your goals if you have a clear purpose, strategy, passion, and leadership support!
