In fact, a recent report found that companies with strong disability inclusion programs see increased shareholder returns and outperform their peers. To create a disability inclusive environment, we must examine the subtle messages we send to one another in the workplace. These messages can cause us to feel connected or disconnected, engaged or disengaged, included or excluded. Additionally, we must examine organizational structures for avoidable subjectivity and change them to be more objective. This unique workshop will address unconscious bias and system changes from the perspective of disability inclusion, ultimately allowing attendees to:• Develop a greater understanding of the power of disability inclusion• Examine micro-inequities and unconscious bias that limit the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace• Learn to harness the power of micro-behaviors to become model employers of people with disabilities• Discuss best practices that are revolutionizing the workforce around the worldHosted by:Michael Murray
