Higher education is often the gateway to a meaningful career, but it doesn’t always equate to a four (or more) year degree. Community colleges enroll nearly half of the country’s undergraduates and serve the majority of diverse, underrepresented student populations in the United States, ultimately producing skilled and trained professionals, ready to join the workforce and advance your diversity and inclusion efforts. With funding from the U.S. Department of Labor, the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) has developed the Expanding Community Colleges Apprenticeships program to increase the number of apprentice programs and services throughout the country.

Join Anne Hoeltke, AACC’s Executive Director of Apprenticeships to learn more about this program, the types of occupations that apprenticeships are conducive to and how to get your organization involved in the project that is projected to train 16,000 apprentices over the next three years.
