According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS) population estimates, in 2022, almost 63.6 million Hispanic/Latinx live in the United States, representing 19.1 % of the total U.S. population. Looking at numbers, California (15.57 million), Texas (11.52 million), and Florida (5.66 million) have the largest Latinx populations. As a percentage of the population, the top states include New Mexico (49.20%), Texas (39.44%), California (39.09%), Arizona (31.51%), and Nevada (28.90%). This is a very talented demographic that includes a wide range of perspectives and skills. This presentation will explore effective strategies to attract and engage Hispanic/Latinx talent, addressing the unique cultural, social, and professional needs of this growing workforce demographic. We will cover best practices for inclusive recruitment, building strong employer branding, fostering a supportive work environment, and developing long-term retention strategies that align with Hispanic cultural values.
