As April rolls around, we spend a lot of our focus in on "awareness." But what if we're already aware because we know (or work with) someone who is on the autism spectrum? How do we truly grow as allies, and stop placing unnecessary obstacles in the paths of autistic people? How can we shoulder some of the responsibility of advocacy, more so than expecting others to constantly be self-advocating?In this session, Haley will go beyond just mere "autism awareness" and tangible steps towards building accessibility into our understanding of “inclusion” so each of us is ready to make the world a better place for people on the autism spectrum - and so we can possibly make a working world exist where everyone feels welcomed and the typical stumbling blocks are no longer.Presented by:Haley MossDisability AdvocateHaley Moss made international headlines for becoming the first documented openly autistic attorney admitted to The Florida Bar.
