In this 60-minute DE Legal Masterclass Roundtable discussion about when doing good goes too far or is accomplished in the wrong way, we will explore the law applicable to currently popular DE&I initiatives. In this practical approach to the topic, we will draw some bright lines while explaining how to undertake proper DE&I initiatives the right way and when your implementation will run you into trouble. We will also address the special legal restrictions the U.S. Constitution imposes on state and local governmental units, including public institutions of higher education and utilities.
