While most employers are genuinely interested in helping veterans find jobs, a common challenge is knowing how to properly map military skills to civilian job skills. Unfortunately, the struggles and frustrations aren’t just those of the employer. Veterans often feel that hiring managers don't understand their military experiences and are hesitant to apply for roles without direct industry-specific credentials, which leads to missed opportunities and underemployment.
Join Recruit Rooster's Rob Cox as he discusses the connections between skills-based recruitment and military skills. As a Navy Veteran and Key Account Exec at Recruit Rooster, Rob will share his personal experience combined with real world examples of how to evolve your brand into a recognized military-friendly employer. Over the course of the webinar, Rob will help equip talent acquisition professionals and hiring managers with a better understanding of military culture and training, and attendees will leave with several tips on how to improve their employer brand's veteran candidate experience.
