While most employers are genuinely interested in helping veterans find jobs, a common challenge is knowing how to properly map military skills to civilian job skills. Unfortunately, the struggles and frustrations aren’t just those of the employer. Veterans often feel that hiring managers don't understand their military experiences and are hesitant to apply for roles without direct industry-specific credentials, which leads to missed opportunities and underemployment.
