In Part II of DE’s webinars related to pay transparency laws in America, Jay Wang of Fox, Wang & Morgan P.C. will illuminate the various rights afforded employees as to disclosing their wage histories. Specifically, this webinar will go over the approximately 22 jurisdictions that have given the power to speak about wage histories almost exclusively to workers. This includes reviewing not only the laws punishing employers who attempt to retaliate against employees who disclose compensation information, but also the restrictions on employers requiring salary history information to determine eligibility for employment or starting wage rates. Join this webinar to figure out what employers can ask of applicants and employees as to wage history, and what employees are free to discuss among their colleagues and potentially even third-parties!
