Amid the rising use of AI tools to help companies select employees for hire, consternation has arisen in some quarters as to whether the introduction of AI tools to help Human Resource and Talent Acquisition personnel in companies is creating unlawful selection outcomes. How do you know? Our very own Candee Chambers will lead a panel discussion of experts who will answer that question. Candee’s certification in test validation and her experience testing for and deploying validated tests will come in handy for this discussion.EEOC Commissioner Keith Sonderling will join us since he years ago took an early interest in this topic, has kept it at the forefront of discussion at the EEOC, has met with AI developers and users to understand how the tools are being developed and deployed and has recently written the definitive law review article on the topic.Athena Karp is the CEO and founder of HiredScore, an early leader in the Artificial Intelligence movement and one of the first to build AI tools for the HR community. Athena has lived AI and will bring much experience and insight to bear in her discussion with the panel.John Charles Fox, Esq., is a Partner and co-founder of Fox, Wang & Morgan P.C. hailing from Silicon Valley and Indianapolis. This topic plays to John’s core strength to analyze and develop lawful employment systems and to defend them from systemic discrimination attacks in the courts. John will be the “missing link” to the now bygone era of systemic discrimination lawsuits—as they now threaten to rise again-- attacking entire AI-driven HR systems.
